| After a late night working we all got up early and headed for Fort De Soto park in St Petersburg Florida. When we got to the park we noticed more cars in the lot then ever. There were not many clouds in the sky but it was cold and very windy. We met our friends and family there. Even met up with one of Tangi's Windlass friends. Kali and her friends ran off like teenagers do and walked without us. Ryley and Sara were not feeling well so we left them behind to play at the finnish line with Tangi, Tim and Mindy. The rest of us headed out on the 3k journey along with many other families facing the same challenges. Kali was 9 when she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. She has come a long way since then. It is alway nice to be able to see and chat with our friends and family. They are all so supportive and understanding of our family life. |

This is what happens when you wake teenagers up early and make them walk. They all pass out for the rest of the day. |

After the walk we were all treated to a big juicy Hot dog, soda and some ice creme. |

Special Thank You to the Cain family for supporting Kali and the JDRF for the last 6 years. By the way Sara is pointing to the Gulf of Mexico and telling mom that Karl and Tangi are going to take her out to Egmont Key State Park . But not today it is just too windy. |
